Accepted Methods of Payment
BotStar chatbot currently accepts online payments through Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, JCB and Discover.
Upgrade your bot
To upgrade your bot, follow these steps:
Click Upgrade in the top right-hand corner.
Choose plan and click Go to Payment.
Fill in all your pertinent billing details as well as your card number, expiry date and CVC in the Payment Information screen
Click Update Now to complete
Cancel your plan
Only bot owner can cancel billing. To cancel your plan, follow these steps:
Click your profile photo in the top right corner of BotStar App, then select Subscription from the drop-down menu.
Select the bot you want to cancel plan in Bot Subscriptions, then click Cancel Plan button.
Confirm Yes or No to cancel subscription in the pop-up window.
Manage your billing
To manage your billing, follow these steps:
Click your account in the top right-hand corner of BotStar App and select Billing from the drop-down menu.
See Upcoming Transaction and Transaction History in Billing.
In Upcoming Invoice, click on Details to see upcoming invoices.
In Transaction History, click on Details to see paid invoices.
1. What should I do when my credit card is declined?
If a payment is declined, you'll see an error message as shown in picture below:
In most cases, credit card declines can be fixed by re-entering your billing information (be sure to double check that you entered the card info correctly).
If re-entering your billing information doesn't solve the problem, try these additional steps:
Use a different card
Call your bank or credit card company
To use a different card, go to Billing > Payment to check card status and change credit card
2. When Will I Be Billed?
Billing starts on the date that you begin the Monthly Plan and recurs on the first day of the next month.
3. Can I Get A Copy Of A Receipt?
Yes. Receipts are stored in the Billing History section of your account. From there, you can print or email a copy of each receipt.
4. Can I Remove My Credit Card From My Account?
Yes. You can change or remove the payment method on your account at any time.
5. What About Discounts?
BotStar offers a 30% discount to nonprofits and charities. If you are a student, please use your .EDU email address to register and get 70% discount on all Bot Plans.
