Integrate BotStar with Squarespace

Before starting this section, we hope that you have the appropriate settings for publishing your bot. If you have never set up your bot to publish on website before, please read our instructive document at Integrate BotStar with Website.

After setting for publishing your bot, please follow the steps below to complete the integration between BotStar and Squarespace:

1. Choose Settings > Advanced > Code Injection on the left-sidebar:

2. Back to BotStar App and Copy the code snippet:

Note: When using this plugin, you just use the code between HTML tags <script> and </script> in the Embedded Code of BotStar App.

3. Insert the Code Spinnet into the Footer section of Code Injection:

4. Click on Save and review your result. Here is the result when you successfully integrate BotStar with Squarespace:

Make sure your web address has been added to the Webview Domains. Once it has been added, remember to update your chatbot on BotStar App.
