1. How many codes should I buy?
Deals with 1 or 2 codes are suitable for enterprises and start-up businesses. The number of sessions monthly is 50,000 for 1 code and 100,000 sessions for 2 codes.
The deal from 3 codes and over is suitable for branded-app agencies or the business which has lots of contacts.
It also depends on the number of members in your team to manage the chatbot. If the team is large, you should buy more codes but if only two or three people manage the chatbot, 1 or 2 code deals might suit you more.
2. What is the difference between the old Appsumo deal and the new one?
With our new Appsumo deal, there are lots more features you could add to your chatbot. There are some significant improvements and add-on such as:

- Google Sheet Integration
- One Time notification (OTN)
3. If I already have BotStar- Appsumo account, I can buy extra?
Yes, you can buy extra codes and redeem them to your current BotStar- Appsumo account. One account can stack a maximum of 10 codes.
Note: You can only stack the new codes in this Deal, not the previous ones.
4. How to redeem codes?
Please follow these steps below:
1. Click on this link: https://app.botstar.com/auth/appsumo/signup to create an Appsumo account > Insert one code you purchased.
2. Click on the account avatar on the top right corner >
Plan. You will see a place to claim the other codes.
3. Click the Claim code button to add your codes
5. When I buy the deal with 3,000,000 sessions but I go beyond that, what will happen?
If you stack 10 codes on AppSumo, you'll have a total of 3,000,000 sessions. In case you pass the number of those sessions, we would charge only for the exceeding session following our publish pricing on the web at that time.
6. How many languages does the chatbot support?
BotStar also has multilingual support for up to 170 languages right out of the box–essential for companies with international customers. You can build a chatbot with different languages to enhance the customer experience.
7. What counts as a Session?
A Session is a multi-message interaction between your bot and an end-user, regardless of the number of messages. One session will expire after 24 hours if there is no interaction with the bot.
For example: A chat user interacts with a bot for the first time on Monday. That will count as 1 new session. Within 24 hours, if the same person continues to chat with the same chatbot, a "new" session will be displayed as 0, and an "existing" session will be 1.
A multi-message interaction between your bot and an end-user is considered as a session, regardless of the number of messages.
8. What are Member Seats?
Seats are used by members that belong to your team. You can add anyone to your account, let them help you manage all the activities without revealing your own account information by giving them a “Seat". The added team members can collaborate on the same bot and share activities such as answering customer escalations, taking orders, or managing bot contents.
Additionally, you can set the permissions for your collaborators and allow them to access some parts of the chatbot. The collaborator can also receive notifications via email.
9. How can I be sure of how many Members/ Seats I will need?
If you are creating chatbot for your organization or business, then it’s very likely that your marketing people, customer support people will need access to BotStar. In case you are going to use BotStar to serve chatbots for your clients, then it’s safe to assume that each of your clients need one seat to manage their chatbots.
